Fire Ceremony

I would like to invite everyone to another Full Moon Fire Ceremony
(when scheduled). This is a heart felt way to come together in sacred
community to share our prayers for the planet and our personal healing.
In the shamanic Peruvian tradition Fire ceremony is done to further
one's growth and transformation through relationship with fire. Please
bring a stick (often referred to as a prayer arrow) to blow in a quality or
experience you would like to invite into your life. When the time is right
and we are in right relationship with the fire we will come to it and make
our offering. We will then draw the energy of the flames into our belly,
heart and forehead.
There is a two week period following a fire ceremony in which instances
of opportunity appear. These instances provide opportunity to translate
your intent for healing or manifestation into reality. It is advised not to
think of the fire ceremony as an instantaneous magical change, but
rather an opening for healing distinctive habits and patterns and for
inviting new inner qualities and experiences to take root. Recognize this
opening and seize the opportunity to change your behavior and take
action in the real world. Then let the universe take care of the details.
Bring a rattle or drum if you have one and be prepared to chant and sing
to the fire. I will have handouts for those who aren't familiar with the
chant.
I recommend you bring a flashlight. If the weather is questionable and
we need to cancel we will have a message on the answering service 1
hour ahead of the ceremony. Please call 540-456-6283.
